Report on WAIFEM/UNITAR Joint Workshop on Multilateral Debt Negotiations (October, 1998):
This report details the activities of a joint WAIFEM/UNITAR regional workshop on Multilateral Debt Negotiation for senior officials of public sector agencies involved in debt management in the countries of WAIFEM member central banks.
This was occasioned by WAIFEM's identification of observed gaps in debt negotiating capacity leading to the signing of an MOU with UNITAR in March 1998 to jointly organize the workshop. The report includes paper presented by WAIFEM/UNITAR faculties and consultants and provides useful reading for acedemics, researchers, policy makers and others interested in debt negotiation.
