WAIFEM's Fellowship Development
Programme Launched
WAIFEM has launched its
Fellows development programmein June 2003. The Fellows Programme is
the Institute's initiative under which talented senior officials involved
in debt and reserves management functions are selected to undergo intensive
training and professional exposure in order to attain "world-class"
level of expertise in the performance of their functions. The programme
was designed as a short to medium-term response to the issues of regional
ownership and the availability of expertise that will be tapped on a
sustainable basis for filling technical capacity gaps identified in
key areas of debt and financial sector management.
